Not a lot to say today…
This week we had great weather, now we are back to our comforting rain.
On the creative front. I’ve been making steady progress in Andrew Glassner’s book. I can’t recommend it enough, not only is it an excellent tutorial technically, he also writes well. Ten chapters in and he is true to his word, the book is written for non-programmers. Mind you it helps if you are interested in how programming works. I have learned more about how to program from this book than most any other text or tutorial.
The video (while a bit rough) takes you thru 6 example projects. In all cases they are altered. He encourages riffing on his receipts. It has been a great way to get some of the concepts to sink in. It reminds me somewhat of fiddling with particle scripts in Second Life. Alter the parameters and variables and see what happens… I hope you enjoy my alterations on the Processing projects this week.
